What is IV therapy?

IV, stands for intravenous or “in the vein”. IV therapy is a convenient service that delivers a high concentration of vitamins, minerals, and fluids into the body through a small catheter that is placed in the veins. This allows 100% absorption of vitamins, minerals, and fluids than if a person was to get them through food or supplements.

What are the benefits of IV therapy?

Is IV therapy safe?

Absolutely. IV therapy is safe and has a very low chance of leading to allergic reactions. Our team consists of licensed healthcare professionals who follow strict safety protocols and aesthetic techniques when preparing and administering all drips and injections.

Are there any side effects associated with IV therapy?

Side effects are very minimal but can include discomfort, bruising, and inflammation at or around the insertion site. True allergic reactions are extremely rare.

How long does an IV therapy session last?

On average, the treatment takes 40-60 mins to complete from start to finish. Please keep in mind that you will have to complete a quick medical assessment before starting any treatment.

How often should I have an IV treatment?

This is determined on a client-to-client basis, however, it is recommended to have an IV drip every 2-3 weeks. It is recommended to have injectable vitamins administered every week initially and then every 2-3 weeks after a month of consistency.

Is there an age limited on who can get IV therapy?

Yes. IV therapy is available to individuals 17 years of age or older.

What areas do you serve?

Vital Drip & Wellness is 100% mobile. We serve Atlanta and metro Atlanta areas only. When booking be sure to include the address where you will like your drip to take place and we will be there.

What happens if you’re unable to locate a vein suitable for IV placement?

Although our team consist of highly trained registered nurses who are proficient in IV insertion, finding an vein can be complex due to dehydration and other similar factors. Per our policy, we will make 3 attempts for IV placement, after the 3rd attempt we will happily give you an IM injection of your choice and refund your deposit.

Does Vital Drip & Wellness serve large groups and/or events?

Yes! If your party has 3 or more guest, we strongly recommend visiting the events tab to submit a form detailing your event.
